Graduated in Physics from the State University Mijail Vasilievich Lomonosov (1988), Master in Nuclear Physics from the State University Mijail Vasilievich Lomonosov (1988), PhD in Physics from the Centro de Estudios Aplicados Al Desrrollo Nuclear (1995), post-doctorate from Universidade Federal Fluminense (1999-2000).

His research focuses on Nuclear Physics, acting mainly on the following themes: Direct reactions, Reactions with formation of the composite nucleus, Hauser Fechbach theory, Coupled channels, Parameterizations of the optical potential and Davidov – Chaban Model.
